"The highlights of coarse were seeing the celebs. Ben Browder (Crichton) was the first to come out reading his favorite Farscape quotes written on cards with his signature. He would throw them into the audience. I caught the one that said Chiana and I are having fantastic sex. The crowd went nuts!! I thought that was pretty cool!" - Angie Nielsen on seeing Ben on stage. "When Ben Browder came on-stage, the crowd reaction was intense. He started by shouting off some of his (and other characters) favorite catchphrases, including one from an upcoming episode Boogie Till you Die man! Then he would take the card with the phrase on it, and throw it into the crowd. I later learned that Angie caught one! Ben then went through the usual Q and A session with the fans, as all of the actors, and production people did. Of all the actors, Ben seemed the closest to the character he plays. He described Crichton as just one of us, which is the essence of Ben's own personality (as far as I can tell.) - Dave Hall on seeing Ben on stage. |
